Urgent appointments

If your problem is urgent and cannot wait, you will be added to the on-call GP list. A duty doctor will call you to assess next steps.

Children under 16 with acute medical problems will always be offered a same-day consultation.

Nurses and health care support workers

Appointments are available Monday to Friday (morning and afternoon) and can be booked up to 4–6 weeks in advance.

Non-urgent appointment requests can also be emailed to: [email protected]

Did not attend (DNA) policy

If you cannot attend an appointment, please cancel it in advance.

  • Missed appointments waste clinical time
  • Prevent other patients from being seen
  • Increase waiting times for everyone

After two missed appointments, a warning letter will be issued. Further non-attendance may result in removal from our patient list.

Out of hours

Out-of-hours care is provided by the Swansea GP Out of Hours Service:

  • Weekdays: 6:30pm to 8:00am
  • Weekends and bank holidays

To access this service, call 111. This is not a walk-in service.
